This place was great to snowmobile to after a long day on the trails. The staff was super friendly, the rooms were clean/warm and the breakfast was filling. Definitely a place to either stage your truck/trailer or ride up to. Close to gas stations and restaurant on site.
When at reception I had questioned if the room was a non pet room as indicated when I had paid for it online using the Choice Hotel app. I was told no, because it's a pet friendly hotel. Also, they deep clean the carpets after each time a pet is in the room. That may be so, but in the past when this happened to me I noticed it the next day. It's the reason why I'm get hotels that have non pet rooms. I showed the receptionist the info online and showed where it said, non pet room. I'm not happy having to take a room that may have had a pet in here. Otherwise the rooms are a bit old. But, clean. Close to all the amenities in in the area
Great motel! Stayed here during a fishing tournament on Lake Temiskaming. Staff was kind and very accommodating for boats. They even opened the breakfast buffet early for us anglers. Buffet had fresh hard-boiled eggs and good cereals. The rooms were spacious and clean with good AC! Left nothing to be desired for our purposes.
Room were a bit hot. Woke up in the middle of the night sweating. I asked the front desk for a fan. They brought a heater fan. Turned on the fan mode and barely blew. It was loud. I decided to open the outside door. Waiting for an hour for the room to cool down. So for almost 2 hours I was awake. Slept 5 hours in total. Thats the only down side. Beds were comfortable.
Older for sure. Service was great. Rooms are older but exceptionally clean. Not upscale for sure but nice and clean all the same. You get what you pay for and we were looking for something on the cheaper side.
I give this a 4 star for a encolodge. It’s clean, a bit outdated but cleanliness is more important to me than updates. Could use a splash of paint. Front desk lady was very informative on nearby restaurants and overall helpful. I’ll def return!
Karen was wonderful and more than accommodating for our dog even for a last minute, late check in. Free Breakfast had multiple options. Place was quiet other than the toilet.
Clean and quiet motel with simple, but comfortable rooms and reasonable prices. Continental breakfast is included. Reception service is friendly and pleasant. I will definitely stay there again. Thank you.
Good spot and a good price. They are also attached to the best restaurant in town so that definitely a bonus
Stayed the night after moose hunting. Rooms were near and tidy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Took their last room and they allowed us to use our own portable hunting cots for the extra 2 guys to be able to fit in the room. Night shift guy went out of his way to keep an eye on our truck and trailer full of gear. I would stay there again.
